Hi,
It's been a very, very long and hot day for me out here in Central California. Which means I may not be reading this post correctly, but I'll do my best (Oh, and I think you posted a help request in JIRA with the same topic... I guess I'll answer that next.)
"Does anyone have any idea on how to add a new Pathfinder character class?" I have to ask, is this a rhetorical question or a legitimate question? As a pcgen data chimp, the answer is "yes, I have an idea on how to add classes." We also have supporting documentation, how-to videos, and a dedicated yahoo and forum group to assisting people learn the .pcc and .lst formats to create their own materials.
"Pathfinder is currently playtesting the character class Vigilante."
Yeah, I announced that on June 22nd - which was a copy of a post over on Enworld.
And finally, I always love these styled questions "I want to add it to my pcgen. Any clues?"
Answer to all of those,
Yes, I know how to add new classes. One of those requirements to making new books for pcgen.
Yup, know about the playtest, announced it myself.
If you want to repeat my work, I'll be happy to instruct you on how I created it or if you perhaps don't want to recreate it you could just grab the playtest set and use it today.
*shrug* Whatever you want to do, I'm pretty flexible with helping people meet their goals. In case you wanted to go the "Do it yourself" route, we also have documentation with older style classes on how to enter your own stuff; I've made more recent videos over on youtube.com (you can get the links over on pcgen.org).
In either case, feel free to email me directly - help@pcgen.org. I'm going to be very busy this week (Holiday week in the United States), but if you reply in the morning, I can spare a few minutes.
Cheers,
Andrew
