Per open tracker DATA-2667 - Furious Focus not applied to Power Attack (temp bonus) (https://pcgenorg.atlassian.net/projects/DATA/issues/DATA-2667?filter=allopenissues)
I cannot fix Furious Focus with the current code. I CAN add a Combat Aspect to explain the power, but the CODE controls the output. BONUS:COMBAT|TOHIT is very limited. I cannot specify which iterative attacks get what bonuses. However, that should be possible with the new replacement Formula Parser that Tom Parker is expected to add in to the 6.08 development cycle.
Combat Aspects are the Messages that appear on the PDF sheets above or below their respective sections - Save Bonuses for Halflings, Combat Bonuses against certain creatures for Dwarves, Skill Bonuses for specific races under certain circumstances.
Feel free to have a look into the discussion about iterative attacks on the Yahoo PCGen Experimental group - subject "[pcgen_experimental] Formula System - Weapon Attacks - Working Discussion"
Requires Code Work involving the new formula parser. Added Aspect, which is all that can be easily done at this juncture.
Cheers,
Andrew
Hi,
the Pathfinder feat "furious focus" does remove the -1 (or more) ToHit penalty for using a power attack.
PCGen can display a secondary Weapon entry when using power attack by using an entry under "temporary Bonus/ Ability/ Power attack...".
Sadly it seems to me that the addition of the furious focus feat does not reduce the to-hit pentaly shown on the character sheet.
a) is that normal /intended?
b) how could I add something in homebrew data files to adjust this? maybe somehow create another temporary bonus entry with "power attack + furious focus"?
