Hi Chuck,
Sent you the files in a zip folder.
Feats & Abilities > Misc subtab
Select the Optional Rules Systems, I left it named "Houserule - GM "Bob" Rules. Add that.
I opted to make a new tab for you. Make your single selection.
Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Chuck,
Sadly, these written mediums of communication lack the more subtle forms of communication - body language, jaw dropped, deer-in-the-headlights, etc... You know, the 70% we actually communicate by.
This to me says "I have no coding experience and no time to learn, please help." Which is cool. Here is what I will do. I will make the homebrew set for you.
In exchange for the data chimp attention, your job will be to review what I send and see if you can at least gain some understanding of how it was accomplished. Hopefully, that will give you a better grasp to where you'll be able to make your own adjustments.
Sound fair?
Cheers,
Andrew

Hi,
And sorry it's taken me so long to answer you back. I forgot my manners.
Have you noticed the "deer-in-the-headlights-look"? I appreciate your reply. You may not have thought it much at the but I certainly did. "There in lieth the problem."
It looks like programming to me and that is something alien to me. I've been able to work on data sheets for other programs but it was strictly a "hit-or-miss" method. Copy an example data file to a safe location, study it, create one of my own, enter my data, and test it. I don't have the slightest idea how to do that with PCGen.
What I was hoping/looking for was something along the lines of say: Select "(Custom Item) for +/-x points" then name the item and fill the points Maybe you did say that and I just missed it.
A little more explanation, maybe? Maybe you just need to "dumb it down" a bit for a non-programmer such as myself? Or maybe come at it from a slightly different angle?
In any event thanks for the help,
Chuck
As a side note,
I plan to post the original message at the other site you suggested.
