Hi Avner,
Welcome. James Dempsey will be in contact with you to get you set up as a Code Monkey. While you are waiting, feel free to check out our wiki - wiki.pcgen.org - under the code team, there are instructions for general set up - IDEs, Git and Github, general standards and guidelines, etc.
We have some rather large projects and of course small projects. James will be asking where you want to focus, as we have more ideas to implement than available coders.
Large scope improvements on the development table:
Removal of JEP and replacement with a custom formula parser (LEADS: Tom Parker w/ Andrew Maitland)
-- This is a two-phase project (1) is Boolean support implementation, (2) is full replacement of the variable system
Removal of Feat Hardcoding (LEAD: Tom Parker)
Re-Implementation of the LST Editor (LEAD: James Dempsey)
Implementation of SIZENUM (LEAD: Tom Parker)
Implementation of FACT in the OS (LEADS: Tom Parker w/ Andrew Maitland)
You will want to peruse the pcgen yahoo groups - Developer (where the code team hangs out), and Experimental (where the code and data team mingles). Several proposals have been raised, but no one has taken up the challenge of implementing those. Approved proposals are stored on the JIRA (jira.pcgen.org). Code (features) & New Tag are the projects to review for that.
Anyways, James should be along later to get you up to speed.
Welcome again.
Cheers,
Andrew
p.s. last minute early morning work conference calls are not fun...
