Hi Mike,
Feedback is good. It shows that the UI despite our efforts still needs better polishing.
Let me try to answer the questions in a straightforward manner here, see below:

the main reason I'm bringing these up is that i made a bunch of stuff using the srd and then i got SUPER excited about pcgen (I've been using it for about a week now) and was getting ready to transfer alot of my stuff over to PCGen when i discovered that there wasn't support for all the basic paizo stuff on the main website
"Basic Paizo stuff" - can you please define what basic means here?
We support the following source books from Paizo:
- Core Rulebook
- Advanced Player's Guide <-- which at this point would cover all the basics
- Advanced Class Guide
- Advanced Race Guide
- Ultimate Campaign
- Ultimate Combat
- Ultimate Magic
- Ultimate Equipment
- Bestiary 1, 2 and 3
- Mythic Adventures
---
Beyond those "core supplements", we also include the player options of:
- Adventurers Armory
- Andoran, Spirit of Liberty
- Animal Archive
- Blood of Angels
- Blood of Fiends
- Blood of the Moon
- Cheliax, Empite of Devils
- Dragon Empires Primer
- Dungeoneers Handbook
- Dwarves of Golarion
- Faiths of Balance
- Faiths of Purity
- Faiths of Corruption
- Gnomes of Golarion
- Goblins of Golarion
- Halfling of Golarion
- Human of Golarion
- Inner Sea Primer
- Orcs of Golarion
- People of the Stars
- Pirates of the Inner Sea
- Qadira, Gateway to the East
- Sagava, The lost colony
- Tald, echoes of glory
- Varisia, birthplace of legends
Campaign settings supplements include
- Book of the Damned (Vol.1 and Vol.2)
- Dark Markets
- Distant Worlds
- Dragon Empires Gazetteer
- Guide to the Rivers Kingdoms
- Heart of the Jungle
- Inner Sea Bestiary
- Inner Sea Combat
- Inner Sea World Guide
- Pathfinder Society Field Guide
- Seekers of Secrets
- Technology Guide
And a bunch of Adventure Path support -
- Carrion Crown
- Council of Thieves
- Curse of the Crimson Throne
- Iron Gods
- Jade Regent
- Kingmaker
- Legacy of Fire
- Mummy's Mask
- Reign of Winter
- Rise of the Runelords
- Second Darkness
- Serpents Skull
- Shattered Star
- Skull and Shackles
and a gamemastery card set.
So forgive me if I'm slightly hurt that we are considered to not support the "Basic Paizo" stuff.
I totally understand that you guys put in A LOT of work and that programming isn't easy (I have done some C++ in the past) and since I am not actively contributing to PCGen i really don't have the right to say anything, but in my honest opinion i don't think it looks particularly good to new users when the basic paizo stuff on the website isn't accessible for in PCGen. I apologize if I am offending anybody, that is not my intent. If i were to outline the major issues I've encountered since starting using PCGen just from a newcomers perspective, I would say the following (not to say i don't love PCGen, i do! i think its the best thing since canned bread and the internet)
1. Archetypes- (in particular i noticed the sorcerer ones) from the same website are lacking
Please be mindful of which website you're referencing here. d20pfsrd.com is not paizo. That is a 3rd party run website which gathers materials from Paizo, and many 3rd party publishers. Contrasting our offerings against that is quite unfair and unreasonable. It also is a false claim, since many such items are not in fact Paizo. The official paizo website is: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/
2. Mythic Adventures- can't figure out how this works for the life of me, doesn't seem to be a way to give my character mythic tiers, or attain spell slots over 9 though i do see that they exist
A simple "how do I work this" helps. I can force a prompt if that is required. However, you assign a MYTHIC TIER under the Feats and Abilities tab.

3. Optional Rules- in particular the advanced race rules for race building just don't seem to work last i tried them, it just doesn't apply the stuff to the character instead it still wants me to pick a normal race
Shoehorning a static program into dynamic building is not fun. There is a specific RACE "Race Builder" you select to enable the builder to work.

4. Gods- this is kinda a big one. there doesn't seem to be a way to sort out the dieties into stuff like evil and good, or to get a basic description. also some things are REALLY confusing. for example one of the traits for character creation needs you to worship one of the elemental lords, however no diety is clearly labeled as an elemental lord, so it wont let me take that trait. eventually i just gave up on it.
The interface is again, not as prominent as we would like. A small button/bubble along the top area has a few options, you can left/right click and add field columns. There is also SORTING allowed, click it for a-z and then z-a.

If its ok i would be happy to write up a list of sources from the srd wiki that would need to be added to get all the base classes and PrCs on PCGen. I just really think PCGen is awesome but from the viewpoint of the uninitiated when you see that it lacks so much of the SRD it makes you feel kinda limited i guess... Idk, i barely know what i'm talking about feel free to ignore me lol
When you say the "SRD wiki" I don't think you grasp that you're talking about non-SRD sources. PCGen already includes pretty much all the SRD from Paizo. I'd say unless they added something new, we cover all the base classes quite well. Also, SRD Wikis are notorious for including homebrew materials that aren't vetted. Please be mindful that we only support the official publisher sanctioned materials.
Now, I will welcome any and all help. Happy to assist as well. However, PCGen has some rules to follow for including items into the public release. For example, Green Ronin Publishing has opted to not allow us permission to include their books. As such, we cannot release those books. However, you are free to make it for your personal use.
I hope that covers all your concerns. If I missed something, please let me know.
Cheers,
Andrew
