I will assume you're using the slayer from Pathfinder's Advanced Class Guide.
If you're using version 6.04.xx, I don't think the ACG had been entered yet for that version. [In fact, the book might not have been released yet.] Grab the most recent version (6.05.03, I think) so you have access to it.
You'll need to make sure you have the Advanced Class Guide loaded when you load your sources. I don't know if it comes built in to the Pathfinder Core Books set or not; you may need to go to the Advanced screen to load it separately.

I installed PCGen today, and I tried to create a character. When I tried to pick a class, there was no Slayer. Do I need to get some sort of add on for that? If so, where should I look for it?Thanks in advance,Kitty
