at 20th level you always end up with 5 different categories, each starting at +2, and with 4 floating +2s to add around.
Hmmm, for some reason I was thinking that you didn't have to pick a totally new enemy to apply the bonus's to. I can apply the 2nd bonus's to all the same enemy, but I thought you could make a super narrowly focused ranger.
But you can end up with 4 at +2 & one at +10 (if you count that as specialised...)
