I tried duplicating it and still having the same problem. First thing I noticed is that when creating an Animal Companion for a 6th level druid the animal companion was created at level 5 instead of level 6. Bumping it up to level 6 as it should be prompts for another feat. Are levels and HD tied together for animal companions?

The hawk has 5 HD - should be 2 feats only; 1 feat at 1st, 2nd at 3rd.
I created a High Elf Level 6 Druid, and the hawk (I get a 5HD hawk). I have exactly 2 feats to select and one Bonus feat "Weapon Finesse". Initial check looks fine to me.
Still looks good on reload. I don't see any obvious problem.

His next feat should come when he hits 6HD which isn't until he's level 9. PCGen wants him to have that feat now at level 6.
