Master Levels and Companion Levels aren't different though. Nowhere does it
say that the animals Companion Level is equivalent to it's HD. In fact it
says the animals Companion Level is equivalent to the Druid's Class Level;
therefore a level 6 druid would have an animal companion with 6 levels in
animal even if it's only 5HD.
