SRD5 put out by Wizard's of the Coast, decided that you would only get a glimpse of one preselected subrace for any races with subraces, one preselected choice for any class archetypes, and less spells, and only one background. Unlike the SRD and RSRD which had more options for the 3e and 3.5e game systems, 5e is a lot more limited.
There are viable alternatives for complete 5e materials that work with pcgen if you utilize google search.
