I'm not active here much, but I do follow it. I've been involved in many groups facing this issue. Imho, moving to Google groups is the way to go.

Not familiar with groups.io. This group needs to move somewhere though. I used to visit frequently it led me to try helping with some of the old files just doing the water carrying so the coders could code. I dropped my Yahoo account years ago and rarely check in now even though I use PcGen and would be willing to carry water.
