I read and follow the e-mails; and sometimes post. E-mails arrive automatically, without intervention by me.
I really, really don't want us to channel all communications to a platform where
* you only see anything if you actively visit the platform
* there's low traffic on the portion you are interested in
* there's nothing else there of interest, so you don't go there generally.
That spells doom for these threads.
Never heard of "groups.io", so it's clearly even lower profile than Google+, which still staggers on, and its fans swear by it, but it *still* isn't The Place To Be.

I used to visit frequently it led me to try helping with some of the old files just doing the water carrying so the coders could code. I dropped my Yahoo account years ago and rarely check in now even though I use PcGen and would be willing to carry water.
