Hi,
Normally I'd refer you to the LST file help group, but since the odds are I would answer it anyways, I'll just post it here:
When making home brew alterations, you need to ask yourself one question: Who is this intended for? (Your own use, or your players?)
If it's you, change whatever you want and hack on to your hearts content. If it's others, then I'd recommend the standards.
You only method:

Other method:
FILE: Ability and Abilitycategory, location homebrew folder ideal, but can be hacked onto another file.

I would like to add 2 'background skills' to my homebrew. These would be two skills you pick at 1st level that automatically get a rank at each level.
Which file should I make this change to?
How do I set this up?
Thanks in advance for any help.
James
PS Kudos on v6.05.04 ! It's been working real good for me. Might be good to make a reminder/suggestion to Linux users to run dos2unix on pcgen.sh, though.
